I want to pursue PhD in education via distance mode from UGC recognized university. What should I do?

UGC regulations have stopped the possibilities of doing a Distance Mode PhD now. One has to do the Course Work for 06 Months and that can only be done through regularly attending the concerned department. I guess Kurukshetra University has just announced PhD Admissions in the Department of English.

UGC has given its approval for Ph.D in any discipline from IGNOU. As you must be aware that IGNOU has an International stature and doing Ph.D from such an organization would be beneficial for you.
