Biotechnology isn't considered as a 'good' course mainly because of lesser, high-paying job opportunities in the field. Of course, the chances of getting a biotech job, with a moderate/good salary increases with qualifications, I. e. , Masters, Ph.D. etc.

The biotechnology courses are available at different levels of education. Like after 10th you can Diploma in biotechnology, while B.Sc. And B.Tech in biotechnology courses are available after 12th. Hence you can choose the courses as per the level of education you have.
