I want to study BSc Ag. in karnataka. My parents are not from agriculture background. Should I take up practical exam for agriculture?

Your interest is in B.Sc agriculture so do that.
there no necessary of agriculture background
when you study B.Sc agriculture then the university itself will help u to do farming . -
Here your own knowledge and your confidence would play a big role Vaibhavi. So opt for it if you have confidence. Your parents not being in this field does not make any difference.
