Hi Amit, In USA, primary medical qualification is called as MD (Doctor of medicine), which is equivalent to MBBS in India. To pursue MD in USA, you need to enroll for a pre medical program which is usually for a period of 3 years. After which you will be eligible to apply for medical program. Admission to medical program or MD in USA will be based on your performance in the qualifying or entrance exam. So, to study MD in USA, you will end up spending more time, exuberant amount of money and it is very competitive. I would suggest you to consider Philippines, which follows an education pattern similar to USA. Europe is home to some excellent medical universities as well. All the best.

Dear Amit, MBBS in the USA is a better option than pursuing it from other countries like Russia, China, Philippines, Ukraine.
