For the first time in 2021, the university was featured in NIRF's Overall and University categories. It is the youngest university in India to be ranked by NIRF. The Week

Both these universities are like poles apart in providing courses and both of them have different areas of focus. Hence, students can choose on the basis of which course they want to do and also on the basis of affordability as Chandigarh University charges less as compared to UPES.
