    Chandigarh University is ranked by many national and international agencies such as QS, NIRF, India Today, The Week, and Outlook. For the first time in 2021, the university featured in Overall and University categories of NIRF. It is the youngest university in India to be ranked by NIRF.     Chandigarh University is ranked top in the Punjab and Chandigarh Tricity region and first among private universities in North India for engineering. According to the Ministry of Education's recently issued NIRF Rankings 2021 for Indian Universities, Chandigarh University Gharuan came in at number 52. In the NIRF Top Universities category, Chandigarh University took first place among Private Universities in North India and third place in Punjab. Additionally, Chandigarh University received a score of 45.01, placing it 61st among the best engineering institutions in India and first among private engineering universities in North India.

    Both these universities are like poles apart in providing courses and both of them have different areas of focus. Hence, students can choose on the basis of which course they want to do and also on the basis of affordability as Chandigarh University charges less as compared to UPES.

    Chandigarh University enjoys quite a reputable status amongst many national rating agencies that evaluate the quality of education, research activity, affordability, and athletic excellence. The University became The youngest University to be ranked by NIRF, government. Of India.
