I want to take admission in LPU for civil engineering? Is it worth to do the same?

Well, following are the highlights of Civil engineering in LPU: - 1. Most of the faculty staff is from reputed organizations with their the highest degree from various reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. Apart from that, faculty have got previous industrial experience also. 2. The capstone project is an integral part of B.Tech programme in which students have to pick a live project based on practical problem-based scenario (ideally from industry) and work for six months under a mentor and present a report at the end. This is beneficial to enhance your presentation skills. 3. There is an internship programme which could be an opportunity for getting work experience and increase your chance to get employment after you pass out. But, of course, your academic record should be good to get this placement option. 4. Industrial visits are organized to nearby construction sites from time to time. There, you can SEE actual construction work going on. Be prepare to have dust on your shoes (believe me, it will be worth a lot). You have to ask questions yourself and trigger interest in the activities around you. 5. About placements-The range can be between 3 Lacs- 6 Lacs. It depends upon the type of company visited and the skills of the students which get placed.
