    Hi,
Most people opt for commerce related field (say banking / finance, management, etc.) but there are other varied fields to look at too. Let me suggest you some career option that is bit off the track for a graduate:
MCA (Masters in computer application): If you're interested in computers and programming this is the option you should look for.
Civil services: If you enjoy serving our nation and want to be part of our democratic machinery this is field you should opt for.
Defense services: Another option to watch out if you have strong inclination towards serving our nation. Though you're from commerce background options will be quiet lim

    Hi,
After completing 12th in commerce you can prepare for banking PO post or you may study for government jobs and can get a government job or else you can take admission in a B-school for BBA or can do B.Com. If you are preparing for CA or CS then commerce is the best field for you.
Kindly, try to learn any foreign language as it will help you in your job profile.

    Career Options After 12th
Except for Medical, Engineering, Architecture Fields, student can opt for any field after 12th commerce.
    The Most Obvious Undergraduate Degree : B.Com/ B.com (H)
Professional Courses: CA, CS, Actuarial Science
Actuarial Science is a very good option and can be pursued along side with B.Com, BBA but very few students are aware about it.
Language Courses also give a very nice career opportunities. I know a friend who studied German Language along with B.Com and she is doing really well and visits Germany quite often.
CA requires diligent work and determination because the pass rate is very low.
    Other Options: Law, Fash

Absolutely! Having a humanities background is no barrier to pursuing Fine Arts at Chandigarh University.

The programme welcomes students from all streams, including humanities, as long as they meet the minimum requirement of 50% marks in their 12th exams. Many humanities students find the programme a natural extension of their academic interests, as the curriculum often connects with cultural, historical, and social themes. For example, a student who studied history might bring unique perspectives into courses like painting or applied arts.

The university values creativity and passion over specific subjects studied in school.

Yes, you can get admission in Fine Arts at Chandigarh University even if you did not study Maths in 12th. For this course, subject choice in school does not matter much. The main eligibility is very simple. A student should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam in any stream from a recognised board with at least 50% marks in total.
