I wanted to ask whether" Distance education and Correspondence course are same thing" ?
I am doing GNIIT and going to apply for Bsc IT in Kuvempu University through distance education.
Will my IT degree have the same value as IT degree from Mumbai University ? .
Will this degree be valuable?
Can I apply for Msc IT degree from Mumbai university after I complete Bsc IT from Kuvemp

In the olden days,'correspondence' was the term used. But, later it was named Distance Education, with contact classes added as an extra benefit.

no, there is diiference between them as in distance u are directly connected woth universiy, bt in coorespondence u are coneccted through any institute not directly.
