Being an alumni of LPU I would suggest that Lpu is the best option to study biotechnology. B.Tech Biotechnology is a 4 year undergraduate level degree programme that involves Chemical Engineering Principles and Applied Biology that considers the use of living things in Engineering, Technology, Medicine and other useful applications. Dear Gayatri, The best colleges or institutes for the B.Tech in Biotechnology programme are IITs, NITs, Amrita, LPU, Amity, MIT, etc. My friend did B.Tech in Biotechnology from LPU and now working in an MNC with a good salary package. After having a B.Tech degree from LPU in biotech. , students can find jobs in pharmaceutical companies, research labs, and institutions in India. However, most Indian students tend to go abroad to pursue their Masters or doctorate studies in Biotechnology and allied fields. Some students also shift to MBA and enter the world of business, finance, and banking as their engineering background gives them the required quantitative skills to excel in these sectors.
