HPTU authorities will not accept soft copies of ID proof at exam centre. While reporting for exam, candidates will have to bring their original valid ID proof along with HPCET hall ticket to the centre for verification.

No, HPCET is not compulsory for admissions to BTech at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Institute of Engineering and Technology. Students can apply through JEE Mains as well as HPCET. Students must still meet the eligibility for the course as well as their preferred exam with students meeting the cutoff receiving admissions.

While filling HPCET application form, candidates can select their choice of centres. From available list, candidates will have to select exam cities in order of preference.
