Economics will help you gain a deep understanding in the concepts of micro and macroeconomics and various other facets of economy. In terms of career prospects, you can do Masters after BA.

The course is designed to train in analyzing concepts and processes of the economy by educating them in areas such as definition, nature, scope, concepts, utility, production, market, monopoly etc. A 10+2 qualification from a recognised educational board with a minimum aggregate score of 45% is the minimum eligibility needed for admission to the course. The average course fee ranges between INR 25,000 and 3 lacs. Top institutes for BA economics are Sacred Heart College Kochi, AIMS Institute Bangalore, Christ University Bangalore.
