I was not allotted a CG PET centre in my first preferred city. Why did this happen?

<p>While allotting the CG PET exam centres, the authorities will consider various other factors including the preferences submitted by the candidates. One of the reasons for the candidates to not be alloted in a centre in their first city preference may be the unavailability. Otherwise, if there are less candidates for a certain centre, then the centre is cancelled and the candidates are allotted elsewhere. However, the authorities try to allot centres within the three preferences submitted by the candidates.</p>
