I was selected in cognizant to work in the IT stream through campus recruitment.now they are giving call-letter for ITIS job.what to do?
I was selected to CTS through the campus recruitment.it was for the IT stream. now they are issuing the call-letter for an ITIS job. IS ITIS job not equivalent to an IT job. is it a BPO job.can i join the job. will there be any differences in pay and promotions?

Cognizant had selected candidates in large numbers during Sep2011. For example, they visited Oriental Group of colleges, Bhopal in MP and selected 525 students. Afterwards, they called all of them in 2012 and took second round. Afterwards, they offered half of them to join by 26 Sep 2012 in IT and b

Cognizant is a reputed, well known & profit making company. I suggest you join then in ITIS. More so the Infrastructure services are also of great importance in IT and you can carve a good career in it.

its upto you to accept or decline the proposal. you have to decide at your own level. taking all pros and cons of taking up this proposal.
