Eligibility criteria of NIFT 2019 will be announced by the National Institute of Fashion Technology in third week of October 2018. Aspirants seeking admissions to B. Des and B. F Tech programmes across sixteen campuses of the Institute must know NIFT 2019 eligibility criteria before filling the online application form. B.Des in Fashion Design is a 4-year undergraduate course, the minimum eligibility for which is a Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2) qualification with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. The programme is spread over 8 semesters, with the final semester being based on the candidate's chosen stream of study.

NIFT 2026 counseling process will be conducted online and will have multiple rounds. In the previous edition of the exam, three regular rounds, followed by a SPOT round, of seat allotment were conducted.
If you meet the cut-off in any of these rounds, you will be considered for admission in that round.
