I will be 23 years in age in February 2019. Am I eligible to appear for NIFT B.Des 2019?

Eligibility criteria of NIFT 2019 will be announced by the National Institute of Fashion Technology in third week of October 2018. Aspirants seeking admissions to B. Des and B. F Tech programmes across sixteen campuses of the Institute must know NIFT 2019 eligibility criteria before filling the online application form. Those, who will fulfill the specified age and educational requirements for NIFT 2019, will be considered eligible. The application form can be filled from third week of October 2018 onwards. NIFT eligibility criteria 2019 will mention the academic qualifications, age limit as well as other important aspects for admissions to the undergraduate design programmes. NIFT eligibility criteria 2019 for appearing in the entrance test for admissions to Bachelor of Design (B. Des) and Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B. F Tech. ) Age requirement- As per the prescribed eligibility criteria of NIFT 2019, the candidates should be of 23 years of age as on October 1, 2018. However, there is an age relaxation of five years for those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Person With Disability (PHP) note: it is prescribed but you have to check in October when the eligibility for 2019 will be mentioned.

Hi, B.Des in Fashion Design is a 4-year undergraduate course, the minimum eligibility for which is a Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2) qualification with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. The programme is spread over 8 semesters, with the final semester being based on the candidate's chosen stream of study.
