The Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) is the national certification body for the pharmacy profession in Canada. The Board evaluates qualifications and issues certificates of qualification. The PEBC Certificate of Qualification for pharmacists is a licensing requirement for entry-to-practice applicants (whether trained in Canada or elsewhere) in all provinces except Quebec. For international candidates, there are 3 steps to achieving PEBC pharmacist certification: You must pass an evaluation of your educational and professional credentials to be eligible to take the Pharmacist Evaluating Examination. You must pass the Pharmacist Evaluating Examination (PEE) to be eligible for the Pharmacist Qualifying Examination Parts I (MCQ) and II (OSCE). Finally, you have to pass the Pharmacist Qualifying Examination. After successfully getting certified, you may practice as hospital pharmacists, medical sales representatives, or community pharmacists.
