Eligibility criteria for PGDM at IIMs is graduation degree with 50% and above marks. Therefore you can chose any degree of your choice & interest to meet min educational requirement. You can start home CAT preparations ( Numerical ability , Data interpretation, verbal etc) and seek coaching if self preparation is not good. Also work to develop leadership traits.

Hi
CAT from IIMs is possible from any bachelor's but since its a management subject , you may get some basics in b.com hons and also it will leave some options later. For preparation of CAT , you may start seeing the sample papers and try some. There are many websites that have mock test papers which you can keep trying. Once you are in second year take coaching for it. Since its a speed time test, its more about how much you learn with short tricks n tips. Keep preparing till final year and take the test. Regularity and persistence is what you need to crack CAT with good percentile. All info about CAT is here.
