Your percentile translates to a rank based on the total number of test-takers. You've got a good rank. hence there are quite good chances of securing a seat in a government college for B.Tech with a score of 87.5 percentile in JEE Mains. However, securing a seat in an NIT might be more competitive depending on your preferred branch and category.

  • You have quite good percentage in 12th as well as good marks in JEE Mains, Hence you are eligible for admission in to some of the NITs or CFTIs which are government colleges. Apart from NIT and CFTI, you are also eligible for admission into many other best goverment colleges for B.Tech.
