I work in a private school in Pune. Is it necessary to do D.Ed even when you have a B.Ed degree?

No, you don't need to do D.Ed.

I work in a private school as I said and I am teaching 1st to 5th. primary section. I am told to do D.Ed compulsorily even when I already have a B.Ed degree. I wanted to ask if B.Ed qualified teachers can teach primary sections too or is it necessary to do D.Ed?

Both B.Ed and D.Ed courses will equal when it comes to teaching skills. These are teaching courses, the training programs are entirely different. There are many differences between B.Ed and D.Ed course. B.Ed is bachelors degree in education whereas D.Ed is diploma in education. B.Ed is an undergradu
