I would like to pursue M.Tech in Remote Sensing and GIS. Can you please guide me regarding career scope for civil engineering students
I am already a working professional in civil construction activities but i am interested in Remote sensing & GIS so i would like to know whether it is advisable to go for Mtech in RS & GIS . Also what would be the starting salary range for GIS professionals as i have to compare to my current salary

RS and GIS is a very exiting field. There are very few professionals in this field and there always a demand so you can expect good salaries. Most of the IITs have the specialisation in RS GIS. even Symbiosis run a MSc in geoinformatics.
