Iam confused to take CA or Cs which one is better because my family is not good in financial position

Chartered Accountancy Course is a professional course in the field of Accounting. It is about financial management, taxation and accounting. where as The Company Secretary (CS) is a professional course which is conducted by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). To become a Company Secretary, the candidates need to pass the Foundation Programme, Executive Programme, and Professional Programme. The scope of a CA is very wide. u can either pursue private practice or join an organisation's financial accounting department or serve in taxation departments. u can also work in fields of Finance, Corporate finance, Management consultancy, Tax Compliance, Change management. Chartered accountants mostly deal with studies like market research, budget planning, planning of policies; management of working capital of an organisation, etc. Their duty is to ensure that the particular company is maintaining its financial transactions according to the law of the country and manage the cost and tax matters of it.where as A Company Secretary can find employment in government accounts or law departments or he can become a Managing Director or Chairman of a Company and be a part of the Board of Directors of a Company. The role of a Company Secretary is that of an advisor for legal matters. If a company goes public, then the management of the public issue falls under the ambit of a Company Secretary. All legalities involved with inter-corporate investments and loans are looked after by a Company Secretary. now salary. c.s can get an avg if 3-4 lac per annum where as fresh C.A can get 5-6 lac per annum. choose wisely. best of luck

Hi, First of all, decide whether your interest is more theoretical oriented or practical oriented. CA is the one who specializes in taxation, auditing and accounting, a majority of the subjects are practical. Company Secretary is a specialist of law, drafting and compliance. A majority of the subjects are theoretical. There's no such thing as easy or hard. Both are almost at the equal level and require the same level of hard work and understanding. Seeing working prospects wise, CA is much more recognized course among the masses and can start his own practice with ease, that's not the case with CS. However, with the company’s act 2013 the job prospects of CS enhanced tremendously as compared to CA. Both have their own pros and cons and both are rewarding. Decide wisely. All the best.
