If you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation. A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However,taking up 2 fields together would lay a huge demand on your time, and only with a strong will can you overcome that state. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose. Go speak to people over there and see if you like their philosophy and they change your perspective.Try their website for more details. Also remember that Animation requires good mentoring. Hello Prem Consider the field, if you are creative. You may surely opt for a skill development at current stage. Once you start developing interest and expertise in digital media and animation, you may aspire for even PG from IIT(IDC) or NID. Digital Media and Animation related programs are offered by lot of Government Colleges and Autonomous Institutes & Universities in India as well.
