iam doing my btech 2nd year in JNTU hyderabad when can i start my preparation for cat xam

CAT coaching requires atleast 6 months of good practice. I would suggest you to join coaching class like TIME or IMS when you enter 4th year. Till that time, try doing practice on your own. I would recommend the following books quants - Trishna LRDI - Nishit K Sinha Verbal - Norman lewis for vocab, Wren& Martin for grammar and Arun sharma In case you are not interested in taking coaching, atleast attempt CAT mock test series after self practice.

HI Lakshmi,You can start preparing by now itself.You can refer any institutes like ims,time,cl and get their material for cat and register in any online cat test websites and prepare those materials and start writing tests,you can score good marks if you start preparing now as you will have more time for the preparation.ALL THE BEST.
