Whenever, you plan to pursue your education from abroad, from an English speaking nation, you have to prove your proficiency in this language by appearing in one of the proficiency tests. IELTS is the International English Language Testing system and is used to assess the proficiency of candidates in this language. It is an important assessment criteria to judge the capabilities of any student or an individual who wishes to pursue his studies from abroad. It is one of the most important criteria in countries like US, UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, New Zealand. As the medium of education in universities abroad is English so all the international students whose first or native language is not English have to take IELTS test to prove their English language proficiency.
