If a person takes flight training (CPL) in a foreign country, can that person work as a pilot in that country?

2 years agoDear Dhruv, in fact, yes If you travel abroad to receive commercial pilot training, the DGCA of that nation will grant you a pilot's licence and a medical Certificate that are valid there. Typically, a licence that has been issued in one nation is also valid in others. This is due to the fact that all licences are given in accordance with standards established by ICAO, a global organisation in charge of organising air travel. I wish you well. -

2 years agoHello Dhruv, yes indeed. If you go abroad for getting trained as commercial pilot, DGCA of that country will issue you liscence to fly and thstvis valid in that country. Normally speaking liscence issued in one country is valid in other countries as well. This is because all liscences are issued following norms set by ICAO, an international organisation responsible for coordinating flying across the globe. Best wishes to you.
