If a student fails in compartment CBSE 12 then will he be fail? Is it necessary to clear compartment to become eligible for CBSE private?

Yes, If a student does not pass the CBSE Class 12 compartment examination, he/ she will be declared as a “Fail” in Class 12 overall, and will still be regarded as having failed to pass the board. That said, he/she can apply as a CBSE private candidate in the following session to take the compartment examination of the subject (s) that he/she failed. The student must clear the compartment subject in this private examination in order to eligible and receive a CBSE Class 12 passing certificate.
