If a student has taken biology and not mathematics, can he give the exam for marine engineering?

Eligibility criteria for marine engineering is given below:
* To pursue a B.Tech in Marine Engineering, a candidate must have cleared 10+2 or any equivalent examination from a recognized board or university under the Science stream with compulsory subjects Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
* The minimum cut-off is 50% in most institutes.* Clearing an entrance exam is mandatory in order to get into most Marine Engineering institutes.
* Candidates who have completed a Diploma in any stream of Engineering (Marine, Mechanical and Electrical) with 55%-60% in final year can join the B.Tech. Course from the 2nd year as part of the Lateral Entry sc...more -
Physics, Chemistry and Maths are must to apply for marine engineering examination. You can't apply for the same without Mathematics.

No, you can't apply for the same. But, if you really want there is a way. First, you have to take a Diploma in any engineering stream. Only then, you can apply on the basis of that Diploma you can apply.
