If a student hasnt studied 12nth and 11nth properly however has done 10th properly.... will he understand wat is taught in college?

YES.....
its all on you
in engineering too most of the stuff taught has nothing to do with 12th.....
you can study many things.....
just keep your interests in mind

college studies are much different from the school,But select the branch In which you have a interest.
