If a student passed in 5 subjects but failed in the 6th subject i.e.maths. Is it mandatory to pass the 6th subject as well?

There is no compartment mentioned and the result is declared as pass. How to clear the 6th subject maths?

If Maths is your main subject, then it is compulsory for you to clear it.

6th subject is generally taken when the board has a best 5 out of 6 subjects method of calculating percentage. Yeah, you have to pass all 6 subject. If you have failed in any of the subject, you have to appear supplementary examination for it. All the best. Feel free to revert. .

I want to do BCA and got admission in college on the basis of my 5 subjects. is still I need to pass the 6th additional subject? I got admission On the basis of Computer Science subject.

It is very much mandatory to clear every subject in your course. Then only you will get your score card from your respective school or college. For passing out in that exam you have apply for recounting which means your paper will be checked again and if scores need to be added that will be add. If

If Maths is main subject, you need to clear it but if it is not mandatory and it is just a substitute subject, then you can get a lease to not pass. But still I would recommend you to apply for it as it will help you to improve your overall marks and Maths marks as well.

Yes, it is mandatory to clear all the backlogs in order to study further. And, to do so you can participate in the supplementary examinations conducted within 3 month of the main examinations.

Yes, you should pass all of the subjects in order to study further, and to do so you can write re exam in the same year or attempt it again the next year.
