    Hello!
For admission in engineering at LPU, eligibility says pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or JEE Mains. So, even if candidate has 90% and above, he/ she is supposed to qualify either JEE Mains or LPUNEST. Student can avail scholarship on the basis of score in Class 12th. Scholarship is also provided on the basis of LPUNEST as well.
However, considering the pandemic situation these days, LPU is giving an opportunity to all the students who were the part of JEE exam held in January to be a part of their special counselling process. Last date to ap

The eligibility of famous B.Tech program at LPU is 60% in aggregate in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and English along with appearance in LPUNEST/JEE Mains. The university then conducts the online counselling for admission and seat allocation on basis of the performance in both.
Although the score of 90% in 10+2 is sure to get you the highest scholarship slab applicable for the particular time of admission, qualifying LPUNEST or appearance in JEE Mains is must to apply for counselling.
The special schedule deadline has already crossed, you need to apply for regular schedule before first week of May (tentative date). Visit admission.lpu

LPU is a premier institute in India. There are certain eligibility criteria to get admission in B Tech program at LPU. A candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in PCM with English and LPUNEST or JEE main qualified. LPUNEST is a national level admission cum scholarship test which is conducted by LPU. it is an online objective type test with no negative marking. The syllabus of the test is what you study in your +1 and +2 subjects.
For the test, LPU has released a book to give an in-depth idea of the test to the students. the cost of a book is Rs 300 only.

    Hey,
Being an academic counselor I would like to tell if you are planning to take admission in B.Tech programme your last qualification and LPUNEST/JEE Mains exam qualified marks matters. To avail maximum scholarship you can get it among all of three but in one way only. What I mean to say is scholarship depends upon last qualification, LPUNEST and JEE Mains. Out of three, one best scholarship with good marks will be awarded.

    The eligibility is :
90% or pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or JEE Mains.
Addressing your query, if you have scored 90% then you are exempted from test.
As, LPUNEST serves two purposes: eligibility and scholarship, the same test will be considered for both purposes.
In addition to this, if your score in class 12th grade is exact or above 90% then you will get maximum scholarship subject to the condition of clearing eligibility norms. But if the percentage gets 90 by rounding up then the slab of the scholarship

You will be glad to know that Recently LPU has relaxed their eligibility criteria and for engineering, if your scores are 90% and above in 12th, then LPUNEST is not mandatory and you will also be awarded with scholarship.
Choosing LPU for engineering is one your best decision. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for
