Yes, you can definitely get admission in LPU after completing your Diploma, even if you have filled the form after appearing for 12th. LPU accepts Diploma holders for lateral entry (direct admission in 2nd year) into B.Tech and other relevant programs. This is a great option if you have done a 3-year Diploma after 10th.

You need to make sure that you pass your Diploma with the required marks, usually around 60% or as per the course requirement. Also, your Diploma should be from a recognised board or technical education council. LPU has a smooth admission process, and they guide students properly at each step.

LPU allows Diploma holders for lateral entry (direct admission into the 2nd year) into B.Tech and other pertinent programs. This is an excellent choice if you have completed a 3-year Diploma post-10th grade.

You must ensure that you graduate from your Diploma programme with the necessary marks, typically around 60% or according to the course's demands.

Your Diploma should be issued by an accredited board or technical education council. LPU features a straightforward admission process, and th

Hi Agnimesh,The admission process in LPU is quite flexible and student friendly. Having said that, if you take admission in Diploma after class 10th and later on pass your +2 exam during the admission phase in LPU, then yes, your eligibility can be updated. Now, this may also alter your scholarship or fee amount (depend upon terms and condition like seat availability, admission phase of LPU, etc. ). Please see this web link to contact LPU admission team:- https://www.lpu.in/admission/admissions.php
    Regards.

A gap of 1 to 2 years after 12th can be considered normal. Although the students should be able to address it via the valid documents. The reasons like health, finance, skill development or family are accepted.

And if the gap after the high school Diploma is beyond 2 years, strong documentation is required to justify the same. The documents like which shows productivity for which an SOP can serve great purposes.

Yes, it should not be hard for you to get admission to the University of Western Australia as an Indian student with 50% in class 12th. However, please note that it does not put you in the top applicants either. The general admission percentage requirement for international students is 50 to 65%.

Look at the other admission requirements -

  • English proficiency tests with IELTS (bands 6.5) or TOEFL iBT (82+)
  • High school Diploma from a recognised board like CBSE or ICSE etc.
  • Some course-specific subjects for Engineering programs

Top universities require a minimum of 80-90% in your 12th-grade board exams.

  • Average universities often accept students with 60-75%.
  • For highly competitive courses like Medicine, cut off is usually higher.
  • Strong SAT/ACT scores can also compensate for a slightly lower board percentage.

Countries like Germany and Norway are excellent options. Because public universities there charge little to no tuition fees.  The cost of living and education is significantly lower compared to the USA or UK. You must factor in living expenses and language requirements.
