The best fit for you is B.Tech in chemical engineering, however all the engineering branches are good.

    Hi,
As a chemical engineering student, I would not suggest you to take admission in chemical engineering just because you are good at chemistry. Being good at chemistry may help you more if you choose to be a chemist rather than a chemical engineer.
Chemistry is not everything in chemical engineering, rather it has a small (though important) contribution to chemical engineering. So, first of all understand the difference between a 'Chemist' and a 'Chemical Engineer'.
Even if you are good at chemistry and (say) bad at physics, still you can become a very good mechanical engineer if you love machines and related things.
    It's totally diffe

Shiksha, don't go with which stream is better. Go with what you want do after studying B.Tech. You may take following considerations. If you like computer, want to build crazy application or something related to software go with Computer Science engineering. If you like playing with machines/motors or electricity go ahead with Mechanical engineering. Or Electrical engineering. If you are India, after studying Electronics and communication engineering most of the students gets job/work in IT companies. Only few percent gets chance in electronics companies. So I would suggest, better to study Computer Science engineering. If you want to

If you are good in chemistry and wants to pursue engineering degree related to chemistry then chemical engineering will be good for you. But you should do a bit research regarding the scope and career opportunity for chemical engineers. Scope is very limited for chemical engineers in India. That's why cut-off of even top colleges for this branch goes down. People these days running behind the best branches like computer science and engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics and communication engineering etc. just because of job opportunity. Only a handful of students' interest lies in these subjects. If you want to gain knowledge

    Hello,
Chemistry is a huge subject by itself as you know it. It comprises of 3 parts; inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry. It is very good that you have already discovered that you like chemistry and want to look for an engineering branch that suits you and will interest you. First of all, most students and parents seem to be very focused on getting into the best branch (Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunications, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, etc.) everybody wants to get into the top branch. Everybody wants to know which branch has the best scope in the future. You might come across some articles that say that computer

Chemical engineering would obviously be the best choice for you in this case but the college and city also matter unless and until you are extraordinary. The scope for chemical engineering is:
Upon completion of your UG studies, you have two options ahead of you - find a job or pursue higher studies in hemical engineering.
Jobs: If you take a look at the placement statistics of most universities, except for the IITs, NITs and other institutions of national repute, there are hardly very few companies coming to hire Chemical Engineering graduates during placement sessions. This is because Chemical Engineering job vacancies are not as high

    Hi,
First let's burst the biggest myth - chemical engineering is not about chemistry.
Chemical Engineering has hardly anything to do with pure chemistry. I would suggest you to look for B.Sc courses in reputed institutions like IISc. If you are truly passionate about chemistry, graduate in it don't go for engineering. No branch in engineering would serve your purpose as none teaches chemistry as such. You can check out engineering chemistry degree offered at some of the IITs.
If you still insist on engineering, I would suggest you to go through websites of some IITs and NITs and read the curriculum of all the branches in detail. In this
