Yes, CAT and CMAT syllabus is little bit different. CMAT is easy as compared to CAT, and also there is involvement of general Knowledge in CMAT.

Yes, General knowledge is additional in CMAT, and the portion is also a bit different. The difficulty level is also less in CMAT as compared to CAT.

If you are preparing for CAT, then you do not need any separate preparation for CMAT.
