Hi, Unfortunately, the answer to this question is "YES". CAT preparation won't be sufficient enough for GMAT and the same holds true if you are preparing for GMAT. The answer is Yes! CAT and GMAT are significantly different from each other. Although the syllabus of CAT and GMAT are quite similar, but the difficulty level of the Quant section in GMAT is far lesser than that of CAT exam. CAT is a very higher level of examination which includes a lot of things. If you are preparing for CAT, then there is not necessary to study separately for GMAT. However, there are some sections which are not in GMAT.
