If I am preparing for JEE exam, do I need to prepare separately for BITSAT?

No, you don't need to prepare for BITSAT separately. I think no one does that. You can focus on BITs in last one month. Syllabus of JEE and BITs are same. You have to prepare only for English and aptitude. That can be done very easily. Prepare for JEE main but also focus on some basic concepts as BITSAT check your concepts. You can join any good coaching institute. You should start solving previous years’ questions and mock papers as this will boost your confidence and will help you in understanding paper pattern and types of questions asked. You can join online test series to habituate yourself to sit for 3 hours in front of computer system. Hope it helped.

Content wise, both the exams are almost same, the only difference being a few questions of English and Logical Reasoning. In JEE Mains you need to answer 90 questions in 3 hours from and in BITSAT you need to answer 150 questions in 3 hrs. So, you need to have different strategy and time management for BITSAT. Now, some students get scared of English. However, there is no reason to get scared. The questions asked are pretty basic. You just need to improve a little vocabulary and read a few grammar rules for prepositions, adjectives and conjunctions. Logical reasoning is also pretty simple and you won’t face much problem if you practice that 1 hour on alternate days. You can practice these through previous year papers and questions on the internet. Physics, Chemistry and Maths questions are same as that of JEE Mains. You won’t need separate preparation for these. Just keep practicing and work on your speed along with accuracy. Maintaining these two, you will definitely get a good score. One thing to keep in mind is the online practice to make yourselves accustomed to the online test environment.

JEE is the tough exam in which student really prepare hard to crack the exam and the syllabus prepared by the board cover all the portion of class 11th and 12th but BITSAT exam is also one of the tough exam in which one has to score more than 300 marks in the exam for getting admission in BITS Pilani. In BITSAT exam there is a more portion which is english and logic reasoning so this portion needs some more attention in which if a student really practices this problem then he or she can solve all most all problem correctly. These two part are bonus point if someone prepared all other portion perfectly. After completing the chapter try to practice through the previous year question and try to solve the problem before time and if any question left unsolved then try to overcome these question so that in exam you can solve the question which gives you confidence. No extra work just practice previous year question and the two more portions english and logical reasoning question. All the best!!

Hello, Let me assure all of the students that exam is an exam. Whether it is JEE, BITSAT or MHT-CET. As these exams are meant to test the knowledge of a student for admission in an engineering college, the syllabus is invariably same as that of class 12th. It is a bogey created that syllabi of states is of lower variety than that of CBSE. If one actually scrutinizes the contents, we will be surprised. What differs is the type of questions that are asked in these exams. This indicates that questions of JEE Mains would be difficult and those of states would be easier. Yes, this is a distinct possibility. But then when we compare set of questions of BITSAT and JEE Mains, they are of same level. Both these exams attract huge number of students and this in turn has made organisers to go for tougher questions for selecting only brilliant students. This is a typical bootstrap situation, but we have to live with it. On the other hand, there is of course a subtle difference in that BITSAT has questions from two more topics of English and Logical reasoning. With this the count of questions has increased while time remains the same and hence those with quick figures have an edge. To conclude, I must say that for a student, preparation for both these exams is almost same except mock exam, and hence students need not worry much.

You don't need to prepare separately for BITSAT, the syllabus is same as JEE Mains and CBSE 12th board examinations. BITSAT has questions on English and logical reasoning too but they are pretty easy and do not require any extra preparation. I would recommend that you solve BITSAT online sample papers a week before your test so that you get comfortable with the pattern. Time factor plays an important role.

BITSAT is the exam conducted by the BITS University and if you are preparing for the JEE exam than it is more than enough for you and you don't have to prepare from somewhere else. There are total of 450 marks and of 150 questions in total which has 4 sections and they are as follows: Mathematics Chemistry Physics English and logical reasoning In mathematics, mainly focus on your basics using NCERT and mainly focus on speed and accuracy. In physics, prepare using HC Verma volume 1 and 2. In Chemistry, prepare using NCERT books and that will be enough. For English, prepare using NCERT books of class 11th and 12th. JEE Preparations are more than enough for BITSAT, except you need to study a bit of an extra chemistry portion (mind you, they are very important). No one (usually) prepares for BITSAT separately. You study for JEE give your exams book a slot for BITSAT as per your convenience (after JEE-Main obviously) study the extra portion and practice the mock test of BITSAT as many as possible. Just focus on speed and accuracy for BITSAT.

Hi, Well preparation strategy of JEE Mains and BITSAT is very different, in JEE Mains you need to answer 90 questions in 3 hours from only physics, chemistry and maths, where in BITSAT you need to answer 150 questions in 3 hours from physics, chemistry, maths, logical reasoning and English, so BITSAT covered a lot of topics and time is only limited to 3 hours so it’s quite tougher to answer most of the questions from five different domains. So one need to have good time management and proper practice of last 10 years questions papers of BITSAT to score some really good marks. Here are some tips to tackle BITSAT with ease. Using sample papers:- Refer to BITSAT previous year sample papers and past year question papers to check out the pattern of questions and the weight-age of important topics. Sample papers and mock test series are the most effective way to familiarize them with the exam pattern of an entrance test and improve their speed and accuracy in solving questions. Online practicing:- Appearing for online mock test series can drive your scores in BITSAT. Practicing online can pay rich dividends for the candidates as it will help them in understanding the format of computer based test and increase their speed in solving the questions. Hello, JEE - joint entrance examination is for the admission into undergraduate engineering programs at IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. BITSAT - Birla Institute of technology and science admission test, is for admission Into undergraduate programs at BITS pilani and its campuses at GOA and Hyderabad. JEE is divided into JEE main and advanced. The Syllabus is the same for both exams that is NCERT classes 11&12, (PCM). JEE exams are the highly competitive exams and so the difficulty is quite high. You need to master all the concepts, formulae and the techniques to crack the exams. JEE Mains have 90 questions to be solved in 3 hours, while BITSAT has 150 questions to be solved in the same 3 hours. You need to practice at least 2-3 hours everyday so that you will be able to crack the exams. You also need to go for as many mock tests as possible and the past year question papers so that they will help you in understanding the question pattern of the exams. coming to BITSAT, The difficulty level of BITSAT is not equal to JEE but you need to race against time. You need to have more speed as well as accuracy in solving. In all, the syllabus is the same but you need to prepare for gaining speed with accuracy for clearing BITSAT while more conceptual knowledge for cracking JEE.
