No, there is no need to prepare separately for UPSEE. But, don't forget to solve the last year question paper of UPSEE exam.

No, the JEE exam is the advanced version of the UPSEE, so if you are well prepared for the JEE, then you can easily crack the UPSEE exam with ease and in this paper there is no negative marking that will give you a great score.

No, not at all. JEE Mains syllabus already covers all the topics that are prescribed in the UPSEE course curriculum. So no need to worry about UPSEE preparations. In engineering, all states and some reputed colleges conduct their own exam and they also accept JEE Mains marks for giving admission to the students in their college. JEE controller set a benchmark for this exam because this is valued all over the India so questions are really challenging and somewhat twisted for students so that the good students get IIT and rest go to other colleges, but UPSEE, this is a state level entrance exam which includes few govt. colleges and many private colleges. There are almost 500 colleges under UPTU in which admission is done through UPSEE. JEE Mains is a government entrance exam for engineering, so the government body conducting this exam doesn't care either its seats are full or not, but in UPSEE, there are many private colleges so they care about all the seats getting full. So, for this, the level of questions in the exam are not so high. A student who studies NCERT, has all the key points in his mind and practices MCQ question from good books such as MTG Question bank or Arihant (PCM) can only score good marks in UPSEE and one more plus point is that there is no negative marking in UPSEE so students can be quite confident about the answer and they will have a little pressure for this exam as compared to JEE Mains. So, I think if someone has prepared in a good way for JEE Mains then he may or may not score good marks in JEE Mains, but he will definitely score good marks in UPSEE.
