Regular study for Diploma engineering may be a problem for you. You better try for AMIE. Clear Section A and Section B. After clearing all the papers of Section B, you will be recognized as a Graduate Engineer i.e equivalent to B.Tech. Best wishes.

No, you can't pursue Diploma in electrical engineering with your job. 75% attendance is mandatory for appearing in exam.
