Hi Sreeram, the scope is good back in India. In UK there is dearth of jobs unless one proves to be an outstanding applicant.
dependin on what education background you have and what do you aspire to be, you can decide on the next course that you can take up.

Hi,
Engineering design has good scope in India and abroad.
After completing your degree you can work as:
Product Specialist.
Production Engineer.
Design Engineer and many more related fields.
As there are many national, international companies in India, so getting a good job after completing your studies should not be a problem.
Please remember getting a job completely depends on the knowledge level and calibre of the student.
So please do not worry about the job right now, complete your education with full dedication and interest, and you will surely get job after completing your studies.
I hope this answers your query.

The best way to check for the same is to refer to a couple of job portals from the UK and check whether there are job openings for the kind of profile that you hold. Just do not check for one or two websites, check as much as you can. then decide on the subject. Moreover a subject is to be taken if and only of you have genuine interest in it. There is no meaning in taking up a course just for the sake of a job. You might get a job, but then that would not be the best thing for you because you would not be happy with the job and end up leaving it and then stuck up nowhere. So think twice before any decision and when taken stick to it.
