If I do LLB from open university, how can I become a member of Bar Council?

To become a member of bar council of India, you need to clear National Bar exam or the bar exam for respective state you want to become member of. However, only LLB degree holders are eligible for sitting in bar exams. Unfortunately you cannot do LLB from open university as there is no provision for

Hello,
I am sorry to say that Bar Council of India does not recognise LL.B. from any Open university. Bar Council of India only approves LL.B. obtained by a regular course. Bar Council of India doesn't allow an L.L.B. degree by correspondence mode to maintain standards in legal education and profes
