Yes, you are eligible to appear for the UGC NET Hindi Subject. As per the norms candidates who have qualified or qualifying their masters from private are also eligible. But make sure your institute is affiliated from UGC.
The aim of NTA UGC NET is conducted to test the eligibility of the Post-Graduated students for the post of an Assistant Professor and JRF.

UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) is an entrance exam which awards lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship to the deserving candidates.
