If I don't opt for music in class 12th, will I be eligible to do M.A. in music after that?

Dear, you'll have to do your B.A. in music first then only you can do an M.A. in music.

M.A. In music? How can you directly do that after the 12th? First, you need to qualify B.A. In music. Bachelor of Arts in Music eligibility Higher Secondary Examination from a recognized school board. English as one of the subjects in 10+2 Bachelor of Performing Arts (Music) 10+2 from a recognised school board with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. Students interested in the programme must have some experience in the fine arts, such as theatre, music, or dance. Bachelor of Music Completion of 12th grade or an equivalent qualification. Some institutes require music as one of the subjects. Some institutes require music assessment from individuals. Diploma in Music 50% in Under Graduation and 10+2 exams from a recognized board. So for B.A. In music, English is required as one subject not music in 12th. And if you want to do M.A. In music then you can't apply without B.A. In music.
