First of all, you should be aware regarding joining Indian army as an officer that you must have to go through an exam followed by 4-7 days SSB where you have to go through screening test, psychological test, aptitude test, vocabulary test followed by physical efficiency test and a personal interview. After this whole process you will have a medical exam, if you clear this entire exam you will be selected as an officer more specifically lieutenant. For this you have to fight for the exam conducted by UPSC like:-
NDA - after class 12th (only if you are a PCM student).
CDS - after graduation.
AFCAT- after graduation.
Indian Navy cadet entry...more -

5 years agoThere are different ways of joining Indian Army. One of the ways is via NDA after class 12th. If for some reason, you miss out on NDA, then you can join after completion of your graduation by clearing CDS exam conducted by UPSC twice in a year. Best wishes to you.
