If I fail in LPU-NEST, can I get admission in LPU?

Dear Dheerendra, there are certain programs such as B Tech programs, Hons programs, MBA, B.Pharma MLT etc. Which are subject to qualifying LPU NEST. You cannot get admission in these programs without qualifying LPU NEST. However, in other programs you can get direct admission as well. But it is always beneficial to take LPU NEST as you can get scholarship from it. The previous year question papers, syllabus, sample papers and all such information can be had from LPU NEST website. Please visit the LPU NEST website of the concerned programme to know the exam pattern of the LPU NEST exam. You need to have a good command of your subject, stream, verbal ability and analytical ability to get a good score. Good Luck.

Hi, Yes, you can GET direct admission in LPU without the NEST. NEST (National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is totally based on the scholarship criteria. There is a lot of advantages of appearing for LPU-NEST including attractive scholarship. I would advise you to apply for LPU-NEST. It’s much easier that way plus it has more scholarship chances but without it also you can take the admission. Admission procedure is very simple in college. What you need to do, you have your all original academic documents along with you to GET the admission. University offers a varied list of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level programmes in the fields of Engineering, Business & Management Studies, Commerce, HM, agriculture, IT, Software and many more. Study experience in the college is remarkable. Professors are highly skilled and very decent. They have great knowledge in their own field and the latest technologies are used for the teaching methods like screen projectors and writing boards. It is the most important experience in my life and the most enjoyable thing I ever did. I have gain various knowledge from different cultures. I have learnt how to communicate with people around me. I advice every students who is wishing to study in my university to study smart and look at his/her future career and build a strong relationship with everyone.

Dear aspirant As per the eligibility criteria for different courses the marks required in boards (qualifying exam) varies from 50% to 60% depending on the course. To take admission to certain courses at LPU you need to appear for LPU NEST for others you may get direct admission provided you fulfil the eligibility criteria. The candidate needs to qualify LPU NEST to get admission to courses like B.Tech. , MBA, Hons, B.Pharma MLT etc. For some courses like B.A. B. Comm, BBA etc. LPU NEST is not mandatory. LPU NEST is considered for offering scholarships as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes. So, it totally depends on the eligibility criteria for the course you wish to take admission to. You can check the eligibility criteria for your desired course at LPU website. And if it is mandatory to qualify LPU NEST then you can avail one more chance to crack LPU NEST with a good score, Every applicant gets two chances to appear for LPU NEST and the best of the two is considered. You need not pay any fee for the second attempt. Good luck.
