If I fail in my additional subject will I be eligible to take admission in LPU for B.Sc. Agriculture?

No, LPU is very transparent and strict for its eligibility criteria for which it also provides opportunity to give LPU NEST exam (in required disciplines) if you have not cleared or appeared for the respective national level test. But if you do not pass your additional subject you shall not be eligible.

As per the, Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam):
Students need to Qualify LPU NEST and Pass with 60% aggregate marks in:
(a) 10+2 or Intermediate (with English*, Physics Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry)
or (b) 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture)
or (c) 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. *Condition of English as a subject may be waived off provided the candidate has studied in English medium. No, you are not eligible to get admission in B.Sc. Agriculture course, if you have failed in additional subject. -
As far as LPU concerned, I know that they are very strict especially in the eligibility criteria and they do their verification process in various steps. So, no one can make fool of them. First thing, you should keep on your mind:
1. Although, an English subject could not be additional still by any chance LPU will not consider you eligible if you failed in English subject.
2. Irrespective of the fact that you are failed in an additional subject if your respective Education board (must be approved by COBSE) write your result as a pass then only LPU will consider you eligible.
