If I fill admission form of LPU then when will be LPU-NEST exam?

Dear Sukhpal, If you fill the form today I.e. May 31, 2018 and apply for LPU-NEST the university will give you date for the test. Also, today is the last day for availing benefits of last year's fee I. e. 2017. If you will apply in June, you will choose the date yourself and also the fee applicable will be of 2018. LPU is good in terms of Placements, Infrastructure, and faculty members. In order to take admission in LPU for a maximum of the courses, the percentage required in 10+2 is 60% along with that subjects of study are also mentioned and the candidate needs to appear for LPU NEST Exam. In order to take admission in any course you need to qaulify the eligibility criteria and along with that you need to appear for LPU NEST which depends of the domain that you are planning to take admission. Yes, there is a cut off for LPU NEST for every course that you need to attain to get an admission into that course. The test is an objective test and the structure of the test depends upon the course that you are intending to take admission. LPU NEST exam time also depends upon the course that you wish to take admission. For B.Tech courses even the previous year sample test can be downloaded from the LPU website. In order to apply the candidate needs to visit LPU website and apply and according has to book a slot. LPU NEST will be conducted online while the candidate is sitting at home in a proctored mode. Application fee for LPU NEST is INR 1000 for boys and INR 500 for girls. However, For Printed LPU NEST Kit Cost of Application form and Printed LPU NEST Kit is INR1500 (for Boys) and INR1000 (for Girls). Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1. Scholarship:Eligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification: The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. In some courses its compulsory to appear and qualify that particular exam the courses like B.Tech, B.Arch and MBA, but in courses like B.A. B.Com BBA its not necessary to appear in LPU NEST if you want scholarship then you can apply for the same but you are interested in that also then there in no need to appear in the exam called LPU NEST.

LPU NEST is a test which serves two purposes I. e Eligibility and Scholarship. There are few courses in which LPU NEST is mandatory but it is written for scholarship fro all courses. The University is conducting remotely proctored online LPU NEST from home since month of May and will also continue same in July. LPU promotes following scholarship: 1. On the basis of marks in previous class 2. LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test LPU NEST on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship 3. Some national level tests like JEE Mains, NATA NEET UCEED CAT XAT MAT CMAT NMAT GPAT GATE etc. 4. Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities. 5. Board Toppers 6. For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities 7. Defence personnel and central armed police forces (CAPF) dependents 8. LPU has also floated COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship for the survivors of COVID and for their dependents as well. # From the above mentioned scholarships, candidate will get one that too which will be maximum one. Moreover, this scholarship is applicable till the completion of the programme subject to the condition that there is no in-disciplinary case. I will advice you to plan the admission at the earliest or maximum by 15-7-2020 and then apply for LPU NEST for eligibility and scholarship.

It is LPU national eligibility and schlorship test. LPU NEST is mandatory or not, This is depend on course to course. So first check the eligibility first of the specific course on LPU website. LPU NEST has two purposes I. e eligibility and scholarship. There are some courses in which LPU NEST is mandatory means you cannot join without giving it whereas there are few courses in which LPU NEST is given for scholarship only. The University is conducting remotely proctored online LPU NEST from home.

When you'll fill LPU-NEST form, you are free to choose the date for your exam and even the slot. You'll get that while filling the form online. Feel free to ask anything.

If you fill it now, then if some slots are empty then you can select your dates. Else it will be conducted in 10 days from the day of application.
