If I get 140 marks and 97 percentile in JEE Mains, what would be my rank? Would I get a seat in NIT for CSE?

From this year onwards the ranking in JEE Mains examination will be dependent on the percentile and not on the raw marks scored by the student. In simple words if your percentile is 97, it means 3% of the total students are above you in merit. This year approximately 11 Lacs students have appeared for JEE Mains it means 3% of 11 Lacs students are above you. So you can judge for yourself as to what would be your rank.
