Your score is quite low for admission to government medical colleges.
A score of 300 can be considered to be average (above 350) and below average (below 350) and the chance to get into a top MBBS college in India would be on the lower side. However, even if you cannot get MBBS admission, you have a chance to get a seat in a BDS course.

Yes, you can get a seat in private medical college. First of all, the selection is based on your rank not the marks. So, if you have a good rank according to your marks you can avail a private medical college seat easily. If you have poor rank you must go according to the private management quota or NRI quota.
