If I get 40 percent aggregate marks, does it mean that I've qualified NET? Does it benefit me in doing a private assistant lecturer job?

    Yes, with 40% aggregate have qualified NET exam. Once you crack UGC NET examination, he/she will be selected for Junior Research fellowship which will be paid or Appointed as a Assistant Professor in the Indian Universities and Colleges. But, to participate in this entrance test you have to fulfill the required eligibility criteria.
