    Hi,
Yes, you can apply and get admission if you have scored 50% in your 12th grade, subject to the fulfilment of eligibility as per the university norms which differs for all programmes. It depends on which programme you are interested in and want to apply for. There are courses such as B.A. B.Com. B.A. BCA etc. For which you can apply as their eligibility condition is 50% in 12th (with English). For Other Courses like engineering, Honours programme eligibility is 60 % and for some, it is 55%. Even there is direct admission to some courses and in some its mandatory to qualify the LPU NEST exam and in some, LPU NEST exam + Interview. Du

The eligibility of a course varies from course to course as in order to take admission in Engineering minimum 60% marks are required, whereas if you want to take admission in simple commerce 50% would serve the purpose. There are few courses in which LPU NEST is mandatory and few in which it is written only for scholarship. Hope it helps.

Hi...

I need to clarify first: are you asking about admission to Chandigarh University for B.Tech/B.E, or admission to a medical/paramedical course (like B.Sc Nursing, MBBS, BPT, etc.)

The marks required and exam rules differ a lot depending on the stream.

Chandigarh University follows a holistic admission approach, giving importance to both Class 12 performance and JEE Main scores, depending on the route chosen. For students not appearing in JEE, Class 12 performance, particularly in PCM subjects, becomes the primary eligibility criterion, alongside CUCET scores for CSE programs. This dual-focus system allows students with strong 12th marks but no JEE score to secure admission, while rewarding JEE participants with merit a
