If I get a better college through JEE Mains then how much will I get refunded?

I have a good score in JEE Mains and might get a better college through JEE Mains, but I do need something to fall back on if things don't go as planned. So I'm taking admission in VIT but I need to know how much of it will get refunded if I decide to leave VIT.

Hello Mohammad Armaan, I can understand your angst and the anxiety about getting admission in a good college of engineering. University grants commission has provided a certain framework of rules under which colleges are supposed to refund the fees which they have charged to the students if the student withdraws admission for some reason or the other. I am sure you would have downloaded the detailed brochure of VIT. There is a chapter for refund of fees. I suggest you read this chapter since there are plenty of conditions prescribe and depending where you fit in certain percentage of the fees paid is refunded by this college. Best wish
